Kid's Birthday Parties at Slick City Nottingham
Got a birthday boy or girl who likes things fast, high and just a bit daring? Slick City Nottingham offers action-packed birthday parties with giant indoor slides, air courts and plenty of opportunities for a bit of friendly competition.
This isn't your traditional soft play party. Slick City has huge dry slides, including racing slides where friends can compete to reach the bottom first, plus attractions such as the Big Wave, Twister and Royal Flush. It's a particularly good shout for energetic children aged four and over who'd rather spend their birthday racing around than sitting still.
And because it's all indoors, there's no need to keep checking the weather forecast.
What's included in a Slick City birthday party?
All three party packages include:
90 minutes of party time, including access to the attractions
A reserved party table
A shared party host to help with the celebrations
Slick City socks for every participating child
Plates, cups, napkins and utensils
Unlimited water and squash
A free return pass for the birthday child
Setup and clearing away
The party table is available throughout the session, so children can take a break between slides and birthday celebrations.
Birthday party packages and prices
FUN Party: £22.95 per child
The basic package covers the action, drinks and party essentials, but doesn't include food. A useful option if you'd rather keep the cost down and add your own choice of food from Slick City's menu.
THRILL Party: £27.95 per child
Includes everything in the FUN package, plus party food, with pizza and hot dog options.
DELUXE Party: £34.95 per child
Includes the THRILL package benefits, plus party bags and a slush drink for each guest.
All packages require a minimum of 10 participating children, so the starting cost is £229.50 for FUN, £279.50 for THRILL or £349.50 for DELUXE.
Extra guests can be added at the relevant per-child price, subject to availability.
Good to know before booking
Slick City's main slide attractions are for children aged four and over, so it's worth bearing that in mind if your birthday child has younger friends or siblings.
Parties last 90 minutes, with the option to enquire about extending to 120 minutes. Children can play and use the party table during the session rather than having separate play and food slots.
You're allowed to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes, but other outside food and drinks are restricted. You can also bring decorations, although confetti, glitter, piñatas and sparkler candles aren't permitted.
Parents and other spectators don't need to pay to enter. However, each party table seats up to 16 people, so check seating arrangements if you're expecting lots of adults to stay.
Slick City recommends arriving 15 minutes before your booking to get everyone checked in and ready to go. Full payment is required when booking, and the venue recommends booking two to four weeks ahead, particularly for weekends.
