Festive Celebrations at Clumber Park

Clumber Park is offering a comprehensive program of festive events for children, adults, and even dogs throughout the season.

Meet Father Christmas: From Saturday, November 22 (and specific dates in December up to Christmas Eve), you can visit Father Christmas in his Winter Wonderland grotto at the Old Parsonage. 

Families will have time to chat, take a photo, and choose a gift from the Elves toy shop. Booking is essential, with BSL Interpreted sessions available on November 29 and 30.

Storytime with Father Christmas for Toddlers: Available on select Wednesdays and Thursdays in December (10th, 11th, 17th, 18th) for an enchanting encounter featuring stories, rhymes, and songs. Booking is essential.

Craft Workshops: Held at the Head Gardener's Cottage, these workshops cost £55 per person (including cake and a hot drink). Options include Wreath Making (various dates from Nov 26 to Dec 2) and Festive Table Decoration (December 21).

Music in the Chapel (Free): Enjoy a festive atmosphere with a vintage playlist from 1940's artist Jayne Darling on Sunday, December 7 (12pm–3pm), and the traditional Nine Lessons & Carols on Sunday, December 21 (14pm). The Christmas Day Service is at 11:30.

Lantern Walks: Guided walks around the Pleasure Grounds at dusk on select dates (Dec 27, 28, Jan 3, 4). Tickets are £5 per person and booking is required.

Festive Runs & Walks: Enjoy a free Heritage & Horticulture Amble on December 15 (theme: Clumber’s beer), the annual free Tinsel Trek on December 27 (approx. 6–7 miles), and the Trust 10k trail run on December 28. Details for a special bookable Christmas Eve 10k Run are coming soon.

Dog Events: Join the annual Festive Dog Walk (Christmas jumper encouraged!) on Wednesday, December 17 (10am), which includes a free mince pie and cuppa afterwards. Treat your pet to a visit with Santa Paws at Central Bark on December 20, 21, and 22 (£2 per dog, includes a treat, no booking required).

The Elves Eatery: The Clock Tower Parlour transforms into the Elves Eatery every weekend from November 22 and daily through the school holidays, offering festive snacks like specialty hot chocolates, mulled wine, and festive sandwiches.
