The Green Festival is a free event organised by volunteers and local community organisations. 

This fun-filled family-friendly event also has a serious intent - to share skills and knowledge to tackle the ongoing climate crisis, biodiversity loss and other environmental concerns.

We have lots of things for the kids to do: live music, vegan food, craft stalls & small green businesses, and a showcase for local groups to educate the community on the great work they do.

Have some fun with the family and help to give the planet a safer future.


What to Expect:

  • The Bandstand - check out the Live Music on the Bandstand. And more at the Buskers Zone by the Tunnel.

  • The Knowledge Garden - 2019 saw the successful launch of a Speakers Area with panels & breakout discussions. 2025 will see more practical knowledge sharing, activities, talks & workshops in the Arboretum Rose Garden.

  • Lots of Stalls - expect 100 stalls from Voluntary/campaign groups, Green Businesses & Crafts, Caterers & food producers. Find them on the Live Map.
