Family Carol Concert with Nottingham Harmonic Choir
Bring the whole family to enjoy a heartwarming and child-friendly concert experience at the Family Carol Concert on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 5PM.
This popular event features the Nottingham Harmonic Choir and the Thoresby Colliery Band, conducted by Richard Laing (with the band also conducted by Luke Pallister), and with Michael Dutton on the organ.
The concert is a perfect opportunity to relax just before Christmas, offering a blend of peaceful interludes from the choir and popular Christmas music, including sing-alongs led by the performers.
The concert is especially engaging for young attendees (up to Year 6), who will be invited to the stage to sing, and some may even get the chance to conduct the band or choir!
The program includes traditional carols, the popular Schneewalzer, and the magical Let It Go from Frozen.
The approximate length of the concert is 2 hours, including an interval.
