The Real Christmas Experience at Rand Farm Park

Christmas at Rand Farm Park is much more than a quick visit to Santa. Families can explore Merryjingle, a festive elf town filled with interactive shows, Christmas activities, real reindeer and a visit to Father Christmas, where children get to choose their own present. There's also a shorter, quieter weekday experience designed for younger children.

What's included in your Real Christmas Experience ticket

The main Christmas experience takes around 90 minutes to two hours, with plenty happening along the way. Children can join Chip and Sparky at Sugarplum HQ, sing Christmas songs at Merryjingle's Music School and explore a 3D Enchanted Forest.

There's a chance to meet real reindeer, make reindeer food, help sort presents at the Sorting Office and decorate gingerbread biscuits with Mrs Claus. And, of course, there's the all-important visit to Santa, followed by a trip to his secret Toy Shop to choose a present.

Your ticket also includes admission to Rand Farm Park, so you can make a longer day of it with indoor play, farm animals and animal activities. Toasting marshmallows and Make a Bear workshops are available as optional extras.

The SEN Christmas Experience - Saturday 28th November

There's also a specially adapted SEN Christmas Experience, with a calmer, more flexible format that allows children to explore at their own pace rather than taking part in live interactive shows.

Good to know before you go

You can arrive at the farm from 8.45am, but you'll need to be ready to start your Christmas experience at least 15 minutes before your booked slot. Parking is free.

Babies who aren't participating can attend free alongside a paying child, while participating baby tickets are available at an additional cost. If a baby is the only child attending, a paid child ticket is required.

Tickets are date and time specific, and this event is a sell-out every year so we recommend booking your preferred dates soon!

A quieter Christmas experience for younger children

Visiting with a toddler? Rand Farm Park also offers a shorter Term Time Christmas Experience on weekdays from 30 November to 18 December.

This lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes and swaps the full interactive shows for an elf-guided walk through Merryjingle. Children can still meet Santa, choose a present, decorate gingerbread and make reindeer food.
